The featured band for the month of APRIL, 2002 is The Shooting Blanks out of Hoffman Estates, ILLINOIS! These guys will rock your socks off, be sure to check em' out!

Shooting Blanks is a stupid, fun, catchy, high-energy pop-punk band from the NW 'burbs of Chicago. Formed in early 2001, these rock-deviants are well on their way to their ultimate goal of global domination. A shared passion for pretty girls, cheap beer, and oral-gratification drives these fine young gentlemen to give each performance everything they've got, and they are always guaranteed to leave the audience wanting more. Currently, Shooting Blanks is looking for any sort of indie or major label recognition, and will stop at nothing to achieve this. The band is available to play weddings, funereals, barmitzvahs, bacheorette parties, or any other function that needs a band that knows how to "rock out with their cock out". Also, they're swell guys that you'd be proud to bring home to mom & dad. Shooting Blanks will be in the studio April 6th, recording 3 or 4 songs, which will later be compiled for their full length by the end of summer.
